Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her first professional appearance was in minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and also played a minor part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in The NBC show This Is Us. She is also the voice of several characters from the animated comedy series Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Virgin River on Netflix since the year 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 when she and her mother relocated to California,[1] where they were able to move around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in acting, singing, and photography around the age of 13. At the age of 15, she moved with her mom back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
