Nathalie Emmanuel is an English actress, known for her role as Missandei on the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011) as well as Ramsey for her role in Furious 7 (2015). Nathalie Emmanuel was born on Southend-on-Sea located in Essex, England to parents of Saint Lucian, English and Dominican descent. Nathalie says that she was inspired to pursue a career as an actress from the beginning to her mother. In the West End, she was selected to portray Young Nala at the age of 10 years old. She made her TV debut in 2006, playing Sasha Valentine, a teen actor on Hollyoaks (1996). Emmanuel played the role from 2006 until 2010. Her character's story-lines included prostitution, as well as heroin addiction. Nathalie hosted BBC Three's Web-sex : What's the Harm? which investigated the online sexual behavior of UK 16-24 year olds. She made her debut as a film actress in the drama Twenty8 later that year. The following year she was cast as Missandei, Daenerys Targaryen's translator the fantasy drama of HBO Game of Thrones (2011). The role of Emmanuel on Game of Thrones was elevated to regular during the year 2015. Also, she played Harriet the sci-fi protagonist who is a character from Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. FHM magazine has ranked Emmanuel at 99th place in the 100 Sexiest Women of 2013 list. In 2015, she appeared in the April editions of InStyle and GQ magazines.
