Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She is currently a fighter within the UFC Flyweight division. She is the younger sister of her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko was the first to start combat sports as an Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina demonstrated her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. Antonina accepted an UFC deal following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight with a unanimous decision. She was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and was also defeated by Ariane. Recently Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
